I-ACT Certification & NBCHT Credentialing

The National Board for Colon Hydrotherapy (NBCHT) was established in 2000 as a sister organization to I-ACT, with the singular goal of certifying therapists through standardized testing.
In 2013, NBCHT evolved into an independent certification organization, dedicated exclusively to maintaining legally defensible credentialing exams that ensure a therapist possesses the requisite skills and knowledge to practice at a high level. Successfully passing the NBCHT exam signifies that a colon hydrotherapist ranks among the industry's best and holds the credentials to validate their expertise.
Since 2021, all new colon hydrotherapists must pass the NBCHT credentialing exam to attain certification as I-ACT colon hydrotherapy professionals.
"The International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT) heightens the awareness of the colon hydrotherapy profession, ensures continuing and progressive education in the field of colon hydrotherapy, and implements professionalism beyond reproach."
